Summary

PhyZX is a local physics-measurement app. It does not include advertising, analytics SDKs, or an app-owned account system. The app does not transmit your videos, photos, measurements, or exported reports to a developer-operated server.

Information the app accesses

Videos and pictures you choose

The app can open a video that you select for motion analysis and a picture that you select for light-intensity analysis. This content is processed on your device. The app uses Android’s system pickers, which provide access only to files you explicitly select; the app does not request broad access to your media library.

Measurement data

Projects, calibration settings, marked points, and derived measurements are stored locally on your device so you can reopen and continue work. They are not sent to us.

Optional model files

If you choose an advanced local tracking model, you select that file from your device. The file is used locally for the selected feature.

Sharing and exports

CSV, spreadsheet, and PDF reports are created on your device. They are shared only when you explicitly choose an Android share target. The receiving app or service then handles the shared file under its own privacy policy.

Data collection and sale

PhyZX does not collect, sell, rent, or share personal information for advertising or marketing. It does not use third-party advertising or behavioural analytics.

Data retention and deletion

Local project data remains on your device until you delete it through the app or uninstall the app. You control any exported files and can delete them using your device file manager.

Children

The app is a scientific and educational tool and is not designed to collect personal information from children.

Some optional project-library links may open third-party educational websites in your browser. Those websites have their own privacy practices; this policy does not cover them.

If this policy changes, the updated version and effective date will be published on this page.
